Why we don’t charge in credits

Most AI website builders sell you credits. Each prompt, each change, each “try that again” uses some up. When they run out, you buy more or you stop.
It sounds fair on paper: you pay for what you use. In practice it works against the people we build for.
Small changes shouldn’t feel expensive
A café owner wants to change today’s special. A salon adds a new stylist. A coach moves a class from Tuesday to Wednesday. These are two-minute jobs, and they happen every week.
With credits, every one of them has a price. So owners put changes off, batch them up, or stop updating their site at all. An out-of-date website costs a business far more than any plan.
A bill you can predict
Small businesses budget month to month. “Somewhere between a little and a lot, depending on how much you edited” is not a number you can plan around.
With Waymere you pay one plan price each month. Hosting, your domain, security updates and payments are in it. Change your site as often as you like; the price stays the same.
What still costs extra
We’d rather say it up front:
- Card fees. When your customers pay you, the payment provider takes its usual small fee per payment. That’s the same everywhere.
- A bigger plan. If you outgrow your plan (more sites, or bookings and accounts on an app), you can move up. You choose when.
That’s it. No credits, no top-ups, no surprise at the end of the month.
